Why did I start?

Just to name some of the reasons why I needed to start my blog now ...
  • There is only so much you can say to a 7 month old.
  • I didn't want Darling Son (DS) to think his Mommy is too old to keep up with Technology.
  • It was free!
So here I am.
I am full time stay-at-home-mom (SAHM).

I spend most of my days trying to figure out how to entertain a boy that thinks he is much wiser then his years (ummmm, I mean, months).

Why did I pick the name "Just the Sous Chef"? For those of you that have seen my husband in the kitchen you know the answer. In case you haven't let me explain ... a "Sous Chef" is the Executive Chef's assistant. You are an important person in the kitchen but you only make "executive" decisions in regards to the kitchen when the Executive Chef is not there. That is me. Do you need examples? Okay, here they are ....
  • I only get to use the knife I want to use when the Executive Chef is not around (or not looking) because a "serrated" knife is better for that ... or maybe it was the "santoku" was better for that?!? Oh gosh, I don't care as long as it can cut what I want!
